Yamaha R1 vs. Porsche 911 on ice video

This apparently frivolous matchup was actually a promo put out to garner attention for the pending newsstand arrival of the latest issue of French motorcycle magazine, Moto Journal.

The race was put on in Lapland at the Laponie Ice Racing school. This educational experience includes lapping complete replicas of tracks – including Silverstone and Paul Ricard – cut out of the snow.
